Becoming A Patient

Citrus Health Network is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that offers mental and behavioral health and primary care services to people of all ages.  As an FQHC, Citrus provides services to patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Citrus accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Florida KidCare, and private insurance, depending on the service.  Clients who are uninsured and underinsured, and meet certain requirements, are offered discounted fees for medical care on a sliding fee scale depending on the income and size of their household.

With compassionate, personalized care to meet all kinds of health care needs starting at birth, Citrus is truly a medical family for clients.

The Assessment and Emergency Services Department at the Citrus Main Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide clients with mental and behavioral health intake assessments, emergency screenings and evaluations. 

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requires Citrus Health Network, Inc. to furnish appropriate auxiliary aids and services where necessary to ensure effective communication with individuals with disabilities.  Clients who need auxiliary aids or services can contact ADA/Section 504 Coordinator Gisela Suarez at 305-424-3183 (TTY/TDD Relay 1-800-955-8771).
